Mobility Concept stands for innovation in the world of mobility. With the vision that mobility can be different, more flexible, cleaner, more vital, and more innovative, we started building our platform in 2011. Since then, we have been continuously further developing the platform and have been helping employers and cities to rediscover their mobility.
Around themes such as: accessibility, liveability, sustainability, vitality, and flexibility, we face significant challenges worldwide. The way we move, plays an important role. Mobility Concept is fully committed, in collaborating with partners, in order to work on innovative solutions for these challenges. We do this through our participation in various projects and initiatives.
In the Schiphol Go app, the several thousand employees of the Schiphol Group can record when they work from home and how they travel to work or to a business appointment. The app provides an up-to-date overview of all different modes of travel and their CO2 footprint. Since the app takes over so much administrative work for Schiphol, it becomes much easier to allow employees to travel more flexibly. All employers in the Schiphol area can use the mobility app for their own employees.
TULIPS is part of the European Green Deal. The subsidy is used to develop innovations that accelerate the transition to sustainable transport and sustainability at airports. In TULIPS, 29 parties are collaborating, including airports, airlines, research institutes, and sector partners. Various pilot projects investigate changes in traveler behaviour and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
Mobility Concept developed a MaaS app for travel to and from Schiphol, for both employees and passengers. With this app, travelers can arrange their entire journey from door-to-door. Based on real-time travel information, travelers receive proactive travel advice. TNO developed a digital model that simulates the travel choices of passengers to and from Schiphol. The results of this model are used to encourage sustainable travel choices.
